Jazley Genovese (She/Her) is a New York based performer/educator. She grew up in San Diego, California, singing and listening to as much jazz music as she could fit in a day - per her namesake. She moved into the world of choir but was always told to stop dancing and moving around on the risers. She found the magic of theatre and was cast in her first musical, the Music Man. after playing Towns Kid Number 4, she was hooked!

Jazley switched coasts to attend Pace University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Arts and Entertainment Management. She has performed in developmental and full scale projects across the country. She was most recently seen in the Old Globe’s 2025 production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

When not performing, she loves to be in the classroom teaching students the beauty of arts education. She has taught with numerous theatre companies including Disney Theatrical Group where she loves to bring the magic of the stage into the classroom.
